Sedum hintonii

$12.99
Title

Prized for its distinctive, fuzzy appearance. The plant forms tight, dense cushions of fleshy, egg-shaped green leaves. Every part of the foliage is entirely covered in a plush coat of fine, transparent white hairs, giving it a soft, frosted silver look.  In late winter to early spring, it shoots out remarkably long, branched flower stalks (up to 24 cm) bearing clusters of tiny, white, star-shaped flowers.

What To Look For: White, cottony or waxy masses on stems, leaf axils, underside of leaves. Sticky honeydew, sooty mold growth, yellowing or dropping leaves.

How To Treat: Use a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol to dab and remove visible bugs. Wash leaves and stems with gentle soapy water. In heavy infestations, consider removing very affected stems/leaves or, in the worst case, replacing the plant.
