Produces dramatic, long, arrow-shaped leaves featuring a deeply ridged, pleated texture. Because it grows as a climbing epiphyte in nature, its care revolves around mimicking a humid, jungle understory environment. To transition from small, smooth juvenile leaves to its signature giant, deeply sized mature foliage, this plant must have a sturdy climbing pole (such as a damp moss pole or a rough cedar plank) to anchor its aerial roots into.
