Compact, ball-shaped plants are loaded with beautiful, eye-catching indigo blue flowers in the spring. They are very easy to grow and reseed themselves quite freely. Mature garden height averages 15 cm. Biennial hardy to Zone 3.

These little beauties are probably the easiest plant to grow from seed. We suggest simple scattering the seed on the surface of the soil any time from June through to the end of August - rain will work the seed into the proper depth. Plants will sprout, then overwinter, before flowering in the following spring, then they go to seed and dying. They make their best growth in slightly moist and shaded areas. Germination takes 8-15 days.
