Dolomitic Lime

Dolomitic lime (dolomitic limestone) is a soil amendment made from pulverised or powdered limestone rich in calcium and magnesium carbonates. It’s used to correct acidic soils by raising the pH (reducing acidity), which improves nutrient availability and supports healthier plant growth. This powdered form disperses into the soil more quickly than coarser granules, making it a good choice for garden beds, lawns, and landscapes where a uniform application is needed. It also supplies essential calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg)—both vital plant nutrients that help strengthen cell walls and contribute to chlorophyll production. Proper soil pH and balanced minerals promote better nutrient uptake, root development and overall plant vigour.
