Crispy Wave Fern

Asplenium nidus 'Crispy Wave' 

A cultivated variety of the bird's nest fern, distinguished by its unique, ruffled foliage. It is a popular and pet-safe houseplant that adds a tropical feel to indoor spaces and is also an excellent air purifier. 

Lighting: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Place the plant in a spot that receives filtered sunlight, such as an east or north-facing window. Avoid direct sun, as intense light will scorch its delicate fronds.

Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy during the growing season. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Avoid overwatering, as standing water can cause root rot. Water around the outer edge of the plant rather than directly into the central rosette. Water trapped in the rosette can cause rot. Use lukewarm, filtered water. The plant can be sensitive to the chemicals in tap water.
