Borage (Borago officinalis) is a naturalized annual native to Europe that will often self-seed. It may not be native, but it is a super plant in many regards. Borage is loved by bees; all parts of the plant are edible, and it repels pests like hornworm, and improves the soil by adding trace minerals that can be taken up by other plants.
