During the dormant season, you can ease up on the watering slightly, letting the top inch of growing media dry out before watering again.
Humidity: Bay leaf plants like high humidity levels. Therefore, periodically mist your tree when grown indoors or grow it in a high humidity area of the home such as the bathroom.
