This native bog plant is an excellent choice for wet areas and rain gardens. It is smaller in size and has glossy foliage. The shrub bursts with white, button-shaped flowers in spring that turn into red fruit that bees, butterflies and hummingbirds flock to these fragrant flowers.

Plant in moist to wet sandy, clay, loamy, mucky or calcareous soils in full sun to shade.
