Anthurium Vittarifolium
A highly sought-after, elegant tropical plant known for its exceptionally long, narrow, strap-like leaves that can grow up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) in length and cascade gracefully.
Lighting: Bright, indirect, filtered light. Direct sun exposure will scorch the leaves.
Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but never waterlogged. Water when the top half, or inch, of the substrate feels dry to the touch. Use a well-draining pot to allow excess water to escape. Use a chunky, airy, well-draining epiphytic aroid mix containing components like pine bark, perlite, sphagnum moss, or peat moss to prevent root rot.
Humidity: High humidity is crucial, ideally 70% or more. A humidifier or pebble tray is highly recommended, especially in drier climates.
