Strobilanthes dyerianus aka Persian Shield or Royal Purple Plant
Commonly known as Persian Shield, this plant has magnificently coloured purple leaves.
Lighting: Persian shield will do best in bright indoor light; and will tolerate a medium amount of direct or dappled sunlight, but prolonged direct sun exposure may result in leaf burn.
Watering: Water once the top 2 inches of soil is dry.
Tips: Prefers a warm, humid environment. Plants can be pinched to maintain a bushy habit.
