General Information: Pink Chintz Thyme (Thymus serpyllum) is a low-growing, drought-tolerant ground cover known for its fuzzy green foliage and profuse display of salmon-pink flowers in late spring to early summer. This variety spreads quickly and forms a dense mat, making it ideal for rock gardens, pathways, and between stepping stones. It is deer-resistant, tolerates foot traffic, and thrives in poor, well-drained soils. While primarily grown as an ornamental, its leaves can also be used in cooking, adding a mild thyme flavour to dishes.
