Also called the Moth orchid. Blooms can last for several months at a time and are the easiest orchids to get to rebloom in your home.
Lighting: These orchidsrequire lots of bright, indirect light. Don't place them in direct sunlight as this can damage their leaves. An East window or filtered light from West or South window will work.
Watering: It is best to water your Phalaenopsis every 7 to 11 days. Let the potting medium dry out slightly between watering. Take the orchid to the sink and soak thoroughly, draining excess water after a half hour, or so. Alternatively, you can mist the medium daily for moisture.
