General Information: Apple Mint is a vigorous, easy-to-grow herb valued for its soft, fuzzy foliage and refreshing fragrance. Its mild, fruity flavour makes it one of the best mints for teas and desserts. In summer, it produces spikes of small white to pale pink flowers that attract bees and butterflies. Apple Mint grows best in consistently moist, well-drained soil and spreads readily, making containers or raised beds an excellent choice for keeping it contained. It is a hardy perennial in most Canadian climates and returns reliably each spring with minimal care.
