Kalanchoe Fedtschenkoi Variegated

$7.99
Title

A succulent known for its beautiful, metallic lavender-grey-green leaves that feature heavily scalloped margins edged in creamy white and brilliant shades of hot pink.  While the primary variegation is cream and blue-green, environmental "stressors" like cooler temperatures, mild drought, or bright, direct sunlight will cause the scalloped leaf edges to flush a vibrant neon pink. In late spring to early summer, it sends up tall flowering stalks bearing loose clusters of bell-shaped, dangling, reddish-brown or coral-coloured flowers.

What To Look For: White, cottony or waxy masses on stems, leaf axils, underside of leaves. Sticky honeydew, sooty mold growth, yellowing or dropping leaves.

How To Treat: Use a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol to dab and remove visible bugs. Wash leaves and stems with gentle soapy water. In heavy infestations, consider removing very affected stems/leaves or, in the worst case, replacing the plant.
