Hoya acuta Albo Variegated

$19.99
Title

Synonymous with Hoya verticillata 'Albomarginata'. This cultivar features elegant, lance-shaped, thick waxy leaves decorated with bright, creamy-white margins that contrast sharply against a deep green centre. Strong climbing and cascading vines perform beautifully in hanging baskets or trained upwards along a moss pole or trellis.  When mature, it rewards growers with spherical clusters (umbels) of star-shaped, waxy white or pale pink flowers that emit a strong, sweet citrus fragrance.

What To Look For: White, cottony or waxy masses on stems, leaf axils, underside of leaves. Sticky honeydew, sooty mold growth, yellowing or dropping leaves.

How To Treat: Use a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol to dab and remove visible bugs. Wash leaves and stems with gentle soapy water. In heavy infestations, consider removing very affected stems/leaves or, in the worst case, replacing the plant.
