Its striking form provides season-long interest.
Spacing: 45 to 60 cm apart
Height: 90 to 150 cm
Width: 60 to 90 cm
Maintenance Requirements: Low to moderate maintenance. Prefers well-drained soil and regular watering, allowing the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings. Grow in full sun to partial shade for the best stem colour and growth. Fertilize monthly during the growing season with a balanced fertilizer. Prune lightly to maintain shape or control size. Protect from frost and temperatures below 10°C, as it is a tropical plant best grown as an annual or overwintered indoors in Canada.
