Characteristics: A native North American perennial with tall, branching stems and clusters of small, bright white, five-petalled flowers. The delicate blooms create an airy appearance and attract bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects. Features attractive green foliage with a softly textured appearance. An excellent choice for native plant gardens, woodland edges, meadows, pollinator gardens, and naturalized landscapes.

Maintenance Requirements: Low maintenance. Prefers well-drained soil and performs best in full sun to partial shade. Adaptable to a variety of soil types, including sandy, loamy and rocky soils. Water regularly during establishment; once established, it is moderately drought-tolerant. Deadheading spent flowers can encourage a tidier appearance but is not required. Cut back old stems in late fall or early spring before new growth emerges. Fertilization is rarely needed in average garden soils. Hardy and well suited to Canadian gardens in Zones 3–8.
