OSC Seeds Lettuce Red Oakleaf

Latuca sativa

Thin, tender leaves similar in shape to Green Oakleaf but with attractive red colouring and a slightly more bitter flavour. Sow seeds in successive crops every two weeks. While this lettuce is generally grown to be picked at the baby-leaf state for tasty salads, it can also be grown through for full sized heads. Grows best in organic, well-drained soil in a sunny location. Keep evenly watered.
