Scientific Name: Begonia ‘Frost’
Description: Begonia ‘Frost’ is a decorative foliage begonia prized for its silvery, frosted-looking leaves. The foliage typically features attractive green markings and a metallic sheen that gives the plant a bright, elegant appearance. Its compact growth habit makes it well suited to indoor containers, tabletops and shaded displays.
Lighting: Prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate moderate light, but harsh direct sunlight may scorch the foliage and cause leaf damage.
Watering: Water when the top inch of soil feels slightly dry. Keep the soil lightly and consistently moist, but never soggy. Good drainage is important to help prevent root rot.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity, ideally around 50–70%. It benefits from increased humidity in dry indoor environments, but avoid keeping the foliage constantly wet, as this can encourage fungal problems.
