Oleander 10" Pot

A Mediterranean plant which grows well in containers, just give them lots of sun and adequate water.

Feed every other week from spring through summer with a high potassium fertilizer to encourage blooming.

Don't be afraid to cut plants back in the fall before moving inside to control size. (Wear gloves for this task as Oleanders can cause skin irritation). Keep plants above freezing during the winter in a basement or garage. Once all danger of frost has passed in spring, start moving the plant outside. For the first day leave it out for an hour. Add an additional hour per day for another week. Start the plant in partial shade for the first week before moving it to full sun.
