The dark stripe along the top of the leaf is actually a translucent window where light enters the plant so it can carry out photosynthesis. Grows to about 12 inches tall.

Lighting: Provide this plant with bright light by placing it on or near a windowsill.

Watering: Water when the soil is dry to the touch but not so dry that the plant is wilting. Provide excellent drainage. Peperomia leaves are succulent in nature and hold water within the plant so take care not to overwater.
