Heather is an evergreen, branching shrubs with white, purple or mauve flowers. The leaves on heather are approximately 1/8" long and can change colors throughout the seasons. The small flowers are formed into long racemes and appear from summer to fall.
Lighting: Bright, indirect or filtered sunshine is best.
Watering: Keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Don't allow the soil to completely dry out.
Tip: Heather plants like high humidity. Cooler temperatures of 40-65 degrees Fahrenheit will prolong the flowering period.
