Eligibility:

• The contest is open to residents of New Brunswick, Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
• Employees, affiliates, and immediate family members of Scott’s Nursery are not eligible to participate.

Entry Period:

• The contest begins on September 1st 2023 at 12:00 am and ends on September 15th at 11:59 pm.

How to Enter:

To enter, participants must:

• Take a creative selfie with your favourite plant.
• Upload your photo on your social media account. (Facebook or Instagram)
• Tag @ScottsNursery. Make sure to include the official contest hashtag: #ScottsPlantSelfie
• Follow @ScottsNursery on Instagram and Facebook.
• Each participant may submit only one entry during the contest period.

Photo Requirements:

• Photos must be original and taken by the entrant.
• Photos must feature a plant or garden-related subject.
• Entries must comply with the terms of use of the chosen social media platform.

Judging Criteria:

• Entries will be judged based on creativity, adherence to the theme, overall quality, and visual appeal.

Winner Selection:

• Winners will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by Scott’s Nursery Ltd.
• The panel's decisions are final and binding.
• Winner will be announced on September 18th 2023.

Prizes:

• First Place: $100.00 Scott’s Nursery Gift Card
• Second Place: $60.00 Scott’s Nursery Gift Card
• Third Place: $40.00 Scott’s Nursery Gift Card
• Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.

Winner Notification:

• Winners will be notified via a direct message on Instagram or Facebook.
• Winners must respond to the notification within 14 days to claim their prize.
• If a winner does not respond within the specified timeframe, an alternate winner will be selected.

Publicity:

• By participating, entrants grant Scott’s Nursery Ltd. the right to use their submitted photos for promotional purposes.

Privacy:

• Personal information collected during the contest will be used only for the purposes of the contest and will not be shared with third parties.
• Please Do Not Give Out Information To Scammers! We Will NEVER Ask For Bank or Other Personal Information Over Social Media Posts.
• We will not have any links to click on for this contest in the comments of our posts. All links are in our Instagram bio or QR Code on posters/ads.

• Entries that violate the terms of use of the chosen social media platform or contain inappropriate content will be disqualified.
